This challenge has been more challenging than the one at the beginning of the year. For one thing, it doesn't seem as if there's as much positive feedback from my fellow "challengees." For another, I just don't seem to be as motivated for some reason, so I'm stuck at the original weigh in of 227, and I know it's because I haven't been as consistent as I was before.

Not nearly as much walking on the treadmill, not as much calisthenics or weight lifting. I DO know that all of these are necessary for continued weight loss, but I'm just lacking the energy or ambition to move forward.

With Leona back from the hospital and her care changed from what it was before; to all of the Hospice workers, nurses, social workers, etc trooping through almost every day, I feel a bit intimidated. I like to get my walk on the treadmill in and done all in one fell swoop, but if I'm not sure when they're coming by, I feel like I have to wait. Then, hours will go by and I feel like I've wasted half the day and still haven't gotten any exercise in.

I know, that's just an excuse to NOT do it, I just need to DO it and forget about when someone might knock on the door.

Actually, in re-reading the above, I realize that I AM using Leona as an excuse--period! No two ways about it, it's just too easy to justify why I'm not doing what I need to do. Okay, 'nuff of that---gotta get back on the treadmill!! This pity party is over!!
227.0 lb Lost so far: 70.3 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
