Congrats! I hear you on the weighing thing... I weigh myself everyday- knowing that it is incredibly unhelpful. I have to stop that!!!!

For now I feel like I need to keep myself motivated. At my weight I should be seeing some kind of a loss almost every day - my scale shows the tenths of pounds. I think that when the weight starts to come off more slowly I will have to weight myself less so I don't get discouraged.

I bought a scale the WEEK BEFORE I started Weight Watchers. I don't get on it, and I can't keep my husband off of it! He's trying to gain weight and I'm trying to lose weight. I feel like we look like Jack Spratt and his wife! LOL (Okay, another tangent...) I've convinced myself that they have "special" scales at Weight Watchers and that all of the other scales in the world are incorrectly programmed....it also doesn't help that whenever I weigh myself at home, I'm completely naked, which I'm sure would be frowned upon at the meetings, so there's my deterrence.

i work in an outpatient rehab clinic so there's a scale in the office the doctors use. I get on it fully clothed and accessorized! (they frown upon nudity at work too... LOL!) The good news is that the door to that office is locked, so if I want to go in there to weigh myself i have to make a concerted effort to go get the key and go in there. It's not a digital scale so I don't get to see tenths of lbs. likely all for the best! Thanks for all the comments everyone!
