I decided to weigh myself on my home scale and compared to the weight i got from the doctors office i think my starting weight is a lie. but i am going to be using my home scale from now on for weigh in's.
246.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 71.5 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Scales are all calibrated differently and you can weigh something different on each one (although they should be within a few pounds of each other). Doctors scales are used by tons of people and should be calibrated regularly but many aren't. So pick one scale as your "official" scale and stick with that one to accurately gauge your weight loss. The flooring can also effect the scale so keep it on a hard level surface in on place. Weigh the same time, same clothes, same everything for the most accuracy. I like in the morning before eating or drinking anything and after going to the bathroom. The most important thing is consistency though.

Thanks for the advice, i have picked my official scale and look forward to seeing it every week. (Provided i don't gain weight, lol)
