I feel better today, my boyfriend is not on the wagon but I stop drinking and smoking cigarettes whenever I get back on my dieting or ny healthy journey. It’s hard when I do it alone, but it challenges me to have discipline. Anyone else have to struggle this way ?

it's definitely hard when you're living with folks who aren't on the same journey. I walk a fine line of trying to encourage my partner to eat better with me and nagging. We are absolutely rooting for you though, you aren't in this alone!!

If they chose to do those things when you're trying not to, ask them to keep it out of sight. I went totally sober for 3 months and my husband kept his weekend drinks in the garage. If you don't see or smell it, it might make it easier. Comprises can be made. Once they see you doing well, perhaps it will motivate them?

wine. its a part of my night routine so cutting it out causes chaos (I couldn't even fall asleep for a few days) but Im on a lil break to try to restructure myself and my habits
hang in there. quitting smoking is tough, same with drinking- both together Id imagine is quite a challenge
believe in yourself and give yourself grace- lean on who you can for support!
