Do you keep track of everything you eat? If you are eating under 1000 kcal/day. You should be losing weight instead of holding steady.

Hi Tai. No I don’t log everything since I’m a picker. It’s hard to log in a pretzel here and there so I only log my a head of time since I meal prep. If anything gets added or removed o try to remember but I tend to forget. Same with my workouts. I forget. I’m actually happy I’m holding steady cause I gained back all I lost last year. I lost 10 by thanksgiving and gained it all back by the end of winter. Now I’m in menopause and I’m trying to figure out how I’m burned calories. I’ve never had to watch what I ate until this past 2 yrs so it’s a trial an error and remembering I’m watching what I eat.

Oh and I’m definitely not eating less than 1000. It’s closer to 1300-1600 I think

I hear you. I am tracking all the food since I joined FS in early Aug this year. And it's been helpful, but I don’t really have to track what I eat since I eat pretty much the same thing every meal. 1300 kcal is a good number. Similar to mine, now I add 60 min treadmill 3-4mph daily, along with weekend biking. Do you go to gym?

I go to the climbing gym 2x a week. The rest of the time I work out at home. I converted one of my bedrooms into a gym because of covid. I don’t get my cardio in as much as before. I use to jump rope and run/walk but had a to give up the run thing and no rope jumping right now cause I hurt my feet climbing. So I try to walk in the morning when I work from home.

That's awesome, and creative. I am at my low limit on calories intake (~1200kcal). If I skip a meal, my seasonal allergy will rear its ugly head. But I can ramp up my exercise to burn more calories and my allergy is kept at bay. Weird, but I take whatever I can. Yeah, find what works for your body. I pick up biking because my knees don't like running on pavement. Now I am at a point where I want to pick up the mileage each time I ride on 3-days long weekend. Everyone has their checklist to cross off. You give me an idea to consider climbing as my next challenge. But likely next year goal, right now I want to slim down before I can incorporate weightlifting to gain all my muscles back. It's a tough road, but rewarding at the end of the day when I look myself in the mirror. You're doing well, and seem to have a good plan to remain active and get fit at the same time. Bravo P$m! Have a good weekend if you are doing your climbing.
