Ok... enough is enough! I watch those programmes where people are 18 or 19 stone and think "how did you get there? Why disnt you stop?" Having given up all semblance of a diet these past 2 weeks, I've eaten so badly that I am now tipping 17 stone and it is time to say stop! I start a new job on Monday, 2 miles from my house! No more hour long commutes to work, no more excuses that I don't have time to swim or gym. No more excuses for eating badly at work when I can get home at lunchtime and eat properly... gluten free, low fat, healthy food! I joined the gym today too, the final piece of the puzzle. I loved going to the gym previously, I just always had some crisis in my life which meant no money or time and the gym would have to go... but excuses no more! Mondays, Tuesdays, the weekends I don't have the kids, these days are all now gym days and, whilst taking it easy at first, I will get back to the happy, fit, healthy person I used to be. Hubby is going to support me to do this right too! He is too quick to agree when I suggest bad foods because he's a foodie like me and will happily eat anything... but prefers the rubbish stuff! I believe that you can eat anything, take the labels off, just be mindful of portion size versus calorie and fat content... says the bird who's the heaviest she's ever been and if she doesn't do something about it now, WILL be one of those people on TV!
