This is from a guy that lost so much weight...but now eats 1 quart of ice cream almost daily....Up yours dear...I still lost a pound eating some chocolate. Next month why don't you try getting a period and see how you do with that?

Good for you! I'm looking at your chart and guess what? You're down 10 pounds since December 13th. How many people do YOU know who managed to lose 10 pounds over the holidays? Sheesh! You're doing great. Next time, I'd just let him know, "It's okay, I put them on my food journal and I can afford the calories."

I just joined this site earlier, and just read about your husband and his comment about you eating hersheys kisses. Mini ones? I will have to check them out for did not know they made them. Anyway I used to belong to weight watchers and hersheys kisses was a snack idea allowed. One or two I don't remember. But its okay.

LOL :-) I feel ya darling. I usually go out and buy myself some hot cocoa. If I make a cup hot enough it takes a while to get it all down and curbs my craving for about ninety calories. "Up yours dear" ... I believe I will be using this one in the near future.

Thanks all...the mini kisses I picked up in the baking aisle of the grocery store. They are between the size of a regular kiss and chocolate chips. They are nummy! I just give myself a treat every once in a while or I couldn't keep this up. MrsM...I guess I didn't stop to think of what I have lost since early December. With my father dying between Thanksgiving and Christmas this last holiday season was a blur for me. I am pretty proud of myself that I have just been steady. After hearing what is a good loss per week since the biggest loser finale...I am happy with my progress. I know I have to add exercise...but I am a sedentary person and it will take me a bit to get off my rather large arse...

Don't let your husband's ignorant comment sabotage your goals. You can enjoy some chocolate and still make progress!! Geez.... men sometimes!!! ;)

If anyone can explain the logic of comments like that, please forward to me... And you know, it isn't just men who make critiques like that.... These people are the ones that create closet eaters, and I hate being that more than I hate those ignorant and useless 2 cents worth mouths.

Hah!!! You crack me up! Hang in there...btw, the Ghiradelli 60% dark chocolate chips are a healthy source of MUFA and only 8 carbs per tbsp. They take the edge off my wicked chocolate cravings fast!

Good one Kmunson! and they don't have bodies that the wicked Mother Nature gave to us, making us carry our weight in our hips to prepare for childbearing years, Mother nature also gave us 10 lbs at perimenopause just because she's a "B" to carry us into the crazy hormonoly challenged years of the big "M' that we are suppose to 'embrace ' and enjoy? Really??... Night sweats, soaken beds, hot flashes, and oh yeah a slower metabolism so those 10 lbs you got will go away soooo much slower! Thanks Mother N! and men they get ???

Eat that chocolate and enjoy every savoury bit of it!

and besides.... Chocolate comes out of a tree, and a tree is a plant so therefore it counts as a salad...

You're doing good gal, don't sweat the small stuff, OR the wiseaker hubby. You don't pick on or tease him, so he should leave you alone too. Our choices are our own to make, & to live with. Better to splurge a little sometimes than to splurge big time once, & feel so guilty later. You are still losing weight, & that is the main thing after all.
