Today I attended the Pilates Reformer class and we had some 1st timers to the class. Even though I just started the class last month myself it felt good know most of the moves already. My body is still pretty sore but I'm hoping that will go away in time. Yesterday I worked out in the pool on my own and did quite a few crunches so I believe I'm sore from that as well as the hike on Monday. My body doesn't bounce back as well as it used to when I was younger. I did up my weights on all the machines I'm using by 5# and plan to increase once a month. I increased the elliptical to level 4 but am still going for 20 minutes and cool down 5 minutes. I do that as my warm-up before working out on the machines (This is after I'v done the 1 hr. pilates reformer class.) I will be doing this Monday, Wednesday & Friday. On Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays I plan to either exercise at the indoor pool &/or walk. My right knee is feeling better and I am no longer getting shooting pains in it. I'v been getting a medical massage on it and she also told me to concentrate on taking long strides when I walk so the changes I made, the medical massages and the pilates reformer must have helped. Yea!

I love Pilates. Soooo much more intense than people realize. This time around I am doing a Barre Method video. Every day I go a little longer, but because I’m clumsy I lose my balance constantly. Goal is to get good enough to take in-person classes without embarrassing myself. As it is I’m in constant pain and soreness. So I can relate to the achy muscles you’ve got 💪🏻🧘🏼‍♀️
