Today is the very first day of my weight loss challenge, I weigh in was a WOOPING 276lbs, Too dam heavy! I do not have a clue as to what approach I am going to take except just start to cut back on carbs eat more protein and just try to exercise more. I hope to figure this weight loss thing as I go. I a, open to any advice or recommendations. Thank everyone for any support.

Hi Jon! The key is finding the right support team for what you are going through.. People who can go through it with you. I am game if you are.

Jon--I'm with you! I still have 80 to go. We all have to start someone. The greatest thing is that we wanted to start! If you find your one approach works--share your ideas, experience. If you find it doesn't, don't give up, just try another one. My theory is that it's a little different for each and every one of us. You have to do what works for your lifestyle as well as what you are able to/want to do. I'm doing low calories/low carbs. I really don't know too much about anything else, but this has worked beautifully for me in the past. After reading other people's posts, I am thinking of juicing for a meal on the weekend (breakfast). I would never have thought of that if I didn't read the posts on here. I find I'm not hungry for breakfast on weekends, so I will either skip it (fast) or juice (blend some veggies). Wishing you lots of luck and looking forward to reading your posts!
