PrairieRains's Journal, 26 March 2021

Today was weekly weigh in, I will admit I was nervous. Monday, I had an emergency trip that lasted hours. All I had in the car was an Atkins coconut bar, I know many people eat these and have zero issues. NOT me!!! I knew there would be a bounce. Ugh!!! Then eating dinner after 10 pm. Not a good start to the week.

So today I was dreading it. Yet I lost 1.8 pounds this week. This makes me a very happy camper indeed.

Life is very busy this time of year with new calves being born everyday. Lots of extra chores outside, and on the 7tg the new chick's will be here. Starting to get excited about planting my gardens.
We had a skiff of snow today so the wait will be a while longer.

Yahoo Rains, we both had a loss!🎉 Use to always have dinner about 8 pm as soon as we stopped doing that pounds started to melt off. Hope all goes well with calving, must be a happy, yet stressful time. Let’s do it again next week!👏👏

Thank you all for supporting my journal!!! 😊, the encouragement is priceless. Shrewd... yes eating earlier is a must for us. Usually we plan on around 6 ish. Calving season catch food when you can lol. And yes each week a drop is a nice feeling. Here is to dropping next week. Txsgranny... I am actually new to this lifestyle. Lol. A transplant from Alaska and yes new chick's are fun, the eggs are the best part. So is our beef. HCB...,I think you are right, I remember working out at the gym and loving it. Now it is hay bales, 40# chop pails lol. H Szw.. thank you so much. Only one... I try to take 1 day to rest and recoup from the week, just everyday chores etc... Kattan... thank you it is a drop. And I am loving it.
