Thanks, Isabel, and GTM!!! :D It does feel great. It is so good to be back in this area of the scale. Last time I was around here was 18 or 20 years ago. It's unreal. Hey, GTM, the shakes I've found that I like the best are Syntrax Nectar Sweets. They are all very good! I mix them with Almond milk, but you can use regular milk or soy milk if you'd rather. They are available locally at a chain store called "The Vitamin Shoppe", but I usually buy them on Amazon. Cheaper there, and usually no tax. :D

@got the munchies - I use Body Fortress - available in lots of flavours, got sucralose or some such diet sugar in it, mixes great with water and or almond milk, and is inexpensive, available in Walmart :)

Isabel is so right. And you can really use any one you like. Don't buy too much until you find one that's right for you. It took me several tries before I found one for me. No matter what, though, make sure it has very low (or no) carbs! That Syntrax has no carbs at all. One other tip... Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurts are AWESOME! Very high in protein (12g!), very low in carbs (only 8g), and only 80 calories. They're amazing, and give a nice protein boost. Careful to only get the 80 calorie ones.

I like to buy big tubs of fat free greek yogurt and mix it with a cup of low carb fruit (blackberries, strawberries, etc.) Only because the commercial yogurts usually have added sugar to sweeten the fruit which is unneeded. As for protein, my absolute favorite is the Dymatize elite gourmet Cappuchino rush protein its a blend of whey (fast absorbing) and casein (slow aborbing) and has 21g of protein per scoop. Big bonus: the protein has real brazillian coffee in it, so there is 100mg of caffiene in each scoop; you get your coffee and your protein at the same time! Runs at about 30 bucks for 5 pounds on bodybuilding.com.
