I'm not losing weight. At all. So frustrated. I find it so hard to track my meals while dealing with kids and schedules. I'm wondering if my medication is causing weight gain or retention, or if there's something else going on. I've been more active, eating far less and making healthier choices. NOTHING. 🤦‍♀️

That is so frustrating! I know that feeling. You put in effort and see no results so it's very easy to revert back to old habits, because it feels like the new habits don't matter. Are you drinking enough water? Are you consuming a lot of sodium? Salt can cause you to hold on to extra water weight. One thing that has been very helpful for me is to eat the same breakfast, lunch and snack each day so I know how many calories I'll have left for dinner and it makes updating my food log a breeze. A food scale is also a great tool to ensure your portion sizes are accurate for the calories you're logging. Hang in there! Don't give up on yourself 💗

It seemed like I couldn’t drop 1 lb., then I started to feel a difference in my clothes...still not the scale. I can now see a pound or two a week. It took awhile to get there. Plus I started drinking more than 64 oz a day of water. I’m not sure if that made a difference! I still have a ways to go, so I feel your pain.

I hear this! The same has been happening to me. I think it's because of stress in my case. My next plan is to try to sleep (or at least rest in bed) for 8-9 hours a night rather than stress all bight on youtube. If they bug me, I'll pretend to be asleep until my "wake up" time. I think giggles help us lose weight too. :)

I don’t know what medication you are on but I def gained from mine! Perhaps speak with your doctor. I went off and finding it much much easier to lose.

Thank you all for the support and encouragement! I'm on two heavy antidepressants, one I'm weaning off very slowly. Hoping by the end of the year I'll be free of it and see a difference. I'm definitely going to up my water intake! And yes...lots of stress here.
