I’ve been in a calorie deficit for days...weight holding steady and now a gain? I don’t understand this. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing and hopefully see some progress soon.
118.8 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Ah yes, the rollercoaster weight ride. I remember those. Never knew I bought a ticket for them, and yet, I was on them. It'll work itself out. ((HUGS))

It’s really frustrating and some days it gets to me more than others. Not sure why? Today I’m not really distressed by the number on the scale while other days it would be very upsetting to see it increase, or even maintain.

Same here. Do you ever find that when you aren't bothered by it, that's when it drops? I find the more I try, the harder it is. Of course, the opposite end of that is if I completely stop trying, I gain tons.

I have been in the same situation for at least 2weeks it's very frustrating but the inches at the waist seem to be diminishing so that's good ! We just have to keep at it to reach our goal .😃🌞

Could be you’re burning fat but gaining muscles! When you’ve gained a lot of muscle it should start showing more loss because it would be just fat loss

I am in a similar situation. I took my body measurements the other day, and lost 1/2" over the past 10 days, which isn't much, but at least it is going in the right direction. I am just keeping on and hoping to see lower numbers sometime soon.

Totally keep going and keep track of other aspects of the loss journey like how other people mentioned... inches and gaining muscle!! Could be a diet adjustment too???

just remember that you can lose or gain up to 5 pounds per day just based on how much water you are drinking! try not to focus so much on the number and more on your measurements and the way you feel! also remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if you are lifting weights then you are going to gain weight!

Weightloss is not linear. Just keep at it. Eating too few calories will cause a plateau as well. make sure you're eating enough, but not too much. it's all a balancing act. you've got this!

same, ive been losing and gaining 3 lbs the last 2 weeks. My body thinks im starving so is trying to save me.
