I woke up this morning feeling poisoned. I was so bloated I could barely make a fist. My body really didn't like something I ingested yesterday. I had gone for a walk with my family, an easy stroll, and had a vasovagal response. Luckily I know my body well enough to stop and sit down for a bit before I fully faint. It was mild and passed quickly, but clearly something was off.
Today is my official weigh in day, but I am going to weigh in again tomorrow too. When I first woke up my scale read 161.5, up 3 lbs since Friday. After having had my coffee, a protein shake, a small homemade muffin, 20 oz of water and several trips to the bathroom, I just weighed in again at 160.5. A full pound lighter after eating and drinking and just 3 hours later. The swelling in my hands is about gone, and my eyes aren't so puffy. It is obviously my body holding onto water to try and purge whatever it is in my system that it doesn't want there. I'm going to double down on my water today, and weigh in again tomorrow.
Last weeks change in goal strategy was a total failure. I realize I clearly need to hold myself accountable each and every day. No more, oh if I fall short today, I'll make up for it tomorrow. My goal chart is a mess for last week. I am slouching more today, my stomach is soft, my skin is not as bright, and my resting heart rate went from 71 to 76. So back to the daily checklist and accountability for me!
This weeks goals are: DAILY Morning Stretch 8000 steps Meditate 5-10 minutes 80+ oz of water -80 gr of carbohydrates Evening Stretch -2 glasses of wine/gin
