Today I lost another 300g - not bad.

This weekend, my loving wife found a pack of Alli in our medicine cabinet. I bought them quite a while ago, thinking I would use them, but never got around to it. For those of you who do not know, they are weight loss promoting pills of the healthier kind. The idea is that you need to eat healthy already and already be dieting, then they can help you a little further on the way.

Well, I figured that I am already eating a lot healthier than I would normally do, and since we got 'em, I might as well use 'em, right?

So I started using them Sunday - they recommen that you start on a non-workday as they may upset your stomach and give you diarrhea - so I did. So far, my stomach seems okay, though a lot looser than I am used to. I can live with that. I also feel very bloated, which I do not appreciate. It hurts now and then. However, I have lost weight consistently for some days now. We will see how it goes. I honestly doubt that I will be refilling on Alli once this pack is gone. I think I have proven to myself that I can do this without it. Maybe towards the end of my weight loss journey it can be helpful to get the last pounds off, but otherwise I will not consider it a necessity.

Today will be a long day. Very long.

I got some sad news yesterday, my step daughter will be moving back to her home country USA, and this will leave my wife and I all to ourselves here in Denmark. This breaks my heart, as I love my little minion, and hate to see her go. And of course it makes her mom even more sad. But this is what she really wants and I feel that she is old enough to make decisions for herself. I hope all the best for her. I am gonna miss her badly.

I hope we will all make it though this with a good end result. I hate to see my little family being split up. Today is a very sad day for me.

Hopefully tomorrow, life will again be good.
