bojilori's Journal, 06 January 2011

Having a discouraging day, blood sugar was high at bedtime last night, and I can not figure out why, was high before breakfast this morning as well, so I delayed breakfast, did a 45 minute workout and bs was at 110 the high of acceptable, still unsure as to why the high, my numbers had been good all week since starting Atkins. Have not cheated, but have learned that my supplements, Ionix Supreme and Isagenix Calcium both cantain carbs, IS is 5 and IC is 10 almost my full day of allowed carbs right there.

Hi, I saw your post. I'm Ruby. I'm diabetic 2 and have fibromyalgia. A lot of things can make blood sugars fluctuate even when we are eating all the right things. I know! I'm on metformin and hear that many doctors prescribe it to their pre-diabetic patients. Some take it to get their sugars under control until they get the weight off and many times can then discontinue the medication. Back to what may be going on? If you're eating right, it could be anything else you're consuming. Also illnesses and infections (even minor ones) can raise blood sugar. Do you have any dental problems? Do your gums bleed? This alone can raise your blood sugar. I sent you a buddy request:)
