tlg28's Journal, 12 December 2020

So, a week of not restricting, plus hormonal factors. A gain of 2 pounds under those conditions is not unexpected or unreasonable. At this weight I can get away with it but I need to be careful to not let it become a habit. I can handle this. I will never be the kind of person who can eat whatever they want and maintain the same weight, and I need to accept that. Maintaining a healthy weight and a strong body will always need to be purposeful and I will always need to make strong efforts to achieve those goals.
115.4 lb Lost so far: 23.4 lb.    Still to go: 0.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You can do it. I have very high levels of estrogen, so I’m starting to incorporate foods that lower that and also foods with phytoestrogens that counteract estrogen.

You're doing great, hun. Yes, maintaining is almost as difficult as losing. You can do it!

2 pounds up is nothing to be scared of. fluctuations happen and some things we can't control.. always important to remember that eating healthy is the true goal. Nourishing your body and promoting good health and longevity.. moving around easier, less body ache.. the number is the icing on top that makes us feel good of course. Keep it up :)

I know what it feels like, I got a lower right leg injury and gained 3.4 lbs due to water weight gain but have 2.8 lbs since my injury has healed. So I know how it feels. Last week, I gained 0.4 lbs but I'm sure I hope I;ll lose it this week.
