VERY...VERY...DISAPPOINTED!!!! I am so frustrated with the fluctuation of the scale, I am about ready to toss it out the window! But I am done with it, I am going to measure myself tonight when I get home and that is how I am going to roll from now on! 5 lbs, how do you gain 5lbs in a week when you are doing what you should be doing. I am not saying I followed 100%, but I did everything right or so I thought I did! I exercised, ate about 90% right and thought I was doing ok, until I get on the scale this morning and it said I gained 5lbs back! I just don't get it! All my clothes fit the same, nothing on that front has changed, so how do you gain 5 lbs just like that? I am so over it....I am over the fluctuation and I am going to do this if it kills me! I want to be happy with the way I look and I want to not be ashamed of myself any more! I am going to need all the support I can get here girls, so please any advice you can give me would be much appreciated!!!!

So far today I have eaten:
Breakfast: Yogurt & Banana
Lunch: Mixed Green salad with carrots, celery, radish, grilled chicken & fat free Catalina dressing
155.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 3.2 lb a week

don't get down about 5lbs. muscle weighs more than fat anyway. I really feel it is more important that we base our success on how we feel not some number on the scale. as women our weight will continually fluctuate up and down. i have come to the conclusion i will be dealing with my weight for the rest of my life. as long as i am comfortable with myself and my clothes i will be happy. keep doing what you are doing as easily as those 5lbs snuck on they will come off. you are the most consistent person i know. you can do it....

Dont forget, your weight can fluctuate up to 5 lbs every single day. I think you have been doing great, and as long as you feel normal and your clothes fit, I wouldnt really be too worried about it. Muscle weights more than fat, and for every pound of muscle you gain, you burn off an extra 50 cals while resting. So brush your shoulders off, and keep going.

I have to agree...muscle does weigh more than fat. When I was down to 133 lbs and started to work out i ended up going to 145, but I lost 13 inches. I was the same size as I was a long time ago when I weighed 120 lbs. (Yes, I still have my measurements from then lol). I think you're on the right track with wanting to start your measurements. Try hiding the scale or put it somewhere where it's not real convenient to get all the time. Just a tip, just like when you weigh yourself, you're to do it at the same time every time, same goes w/measuring. I can tell you from experience that my measurements will fluctuate a little from morning till night. Some I think is water retention, so I just do mine first thing in the morning. You can do this girl!

Hang in there. Weight can fluctuate so much, my scale moves up & down constantly. That is why I yo-yo diet (trying to break it) because of that darn scale. Don't weight yourself for another few days or even a week and I bet you'll be thrilled that it may be off plus maybe more. Losing 21 pounds is awesome. At this point with 10 to go, you do have to go by how you feel (in your clothes I think is best) especially if you are working out.
