Yes, I gained weight over the holidays. Yes, I stopped tracking my food for a few days here and there in order to save my sanity. Do I regret it? Not one bit. The way I see it, even the most normal, healthy weight person is going to put on a few pounds when presented with basically a month of the best foods ever, and all I ever hope to be is normal. So, I gained 5 pounds. I'm still 20 less than I was last year, and now I can get back to work without feeling like I denied myself a whole season of celebration for the sake of a few pounds.
