Ryan_F's Journal, 17 September 2020

Oh, hello there goal! I guess it's on to maintenance. I raised my RDI from 1900 to 2200 for now so we'll see how that does. I've been weighing myself daily but only adding entries after losses, so I think I'll go to a steady once a week for entries.

I admit that I'm terrified of gaining the weight back. Hopefully that fear will keep me motivated. I still plan to track everything that goes in my mouth just as I have been. Some day I hope that I don't have to do that, but that time definitely isn't yet.

In other news, I had my yearly physical last week. My blood tests looked great and my doctor took me off of the blood pressure and cholesterol meds I had been taking. My cholesterol went from 275 total (LDL 174, HDL 58, triglycerides 215) this time last year to 183 (LDL 84, HDL 82, triglycerides 84) last Friday. I was pretty stoked! Granted, that was with the weight loss AND the 5mg of simvastatin I had been taking, so I imagine it will increase a bit after stopping the meds. Getting rechecked in a couple months to see.

Hope everyone has a great day!

DUDE! YOU ARE AMAZING! I'm probably always going to have to track too, at least a little - but, if that's what it requires to maintain, I'm totally okay with it. Have an awesome day, Ryan.
