Are you entering in absolutely everything that you're eating? I see a couple of days where you're at less than 1000 calories - is that right? Stick with it, you've only had the "right RDI" for about a week now, give it a little more time and keep logging! :)

Im logging EVERYTHING and my RDI is lower than most sites seem to be recommending for me. I know its just been a week...guess im impatient

The important thing is you are keeping focused on your goals. I bet next week you drop more than you expect. Sometimes that happens...big loss one week, no loss the next. You can do this!

Haha, you sound just like I did!! I was very impatient at the start also - I was like "I ate healthy for two days in a row, why didn't I lose weight??" :) And then I just stuck with it and things started working the way they should. If you stick with your 1431 RDI (which seems very reasonable) for a few weeks and don't see movement in the right direction, then there's some other things to start looking into... And also, keep in mind that salty foods, hormone swings throughout the month, sore muscles, etc.. can all cause weight fluctuations. Keep the big picture in mind. I weighed myself at the same time (right after waking) so that I could see a weekly trend instead of big jumps on the scale.. Anyway, I'll stop jabbering. Keep at it! :)

You shouldn't eat below 1200 cals a day or your body apparently goes into hibernation mode, where the body fat is stored to store energy and your metabolism slows to almost no movement. Your body is complex and needs a certain amount of calories to function. Low calories can cause a lack of mental energy and affect your thought process. Your immune system can also be affected by low calories as well. Many people report high rate of sickness and fatigue while taking in less than 1,200 calories.

Everyone's said exactly the right things, Mamabear. Give it a little more time. Just stay with it and I'll bet they scales move in the next few days. If we can help, just let us know. We're here for you!

You could be losing weight but not realize it because you're retaining water. Or if you're exercising your fat loss could be masked by muscle gain. Muscle takes up let space but weighs about the same as fat. Consider using a measure tape instead; waist, chest, hips, thighs, upper arms, neck, ankles.

Good advice from onedaat.took a good month and half before the scales showed me any loss and I was.getting very frustrated butthen decided to use a tape measure and I was losing.all the exercise was paying off,i was toning up and my shape was changing.

Don't give up!! You can do this!! Just keep doing what you're doing and the loss will come.
