Braais are coming up and so is my anxiety.
Q: what to drink except alcohol🤔 What do you drink?

@Sabre, 🦄hey. It’s the constant peeing that piss me off🤣. I tried soda water too and that sucked. @Marni, 🦋hey. Where can I get kombucha? I’ve read that’s it’s also good for digestion😉

Soda Water and a dash of any 100% fruit juice, sprig of mint and loads of ice :)

@Mailula Abby🦋, doesn’t alcohol immediately kick you out of ketosis? That’s why I’m avoiding it. How are you tracking your ketones? Is dry red the exception? Tell me more🤗 @v1shana the fructose will not b worth it😑 but maybe infusing the mint and other low sugar fruit in soda water may help.. thank you 😊

@Sydney, yeah that’s true, but I’m just scared of the effect the alcohol will have. Coke Zero seems to be the majority so.. Let’s try the Coke Zero 😎 Y’all are so awesome 👏🏾

@Palesa. When i do Keto i limit my carb intake to less than 20g. One glass 100ml of pinot noir has around 2.8g of carb content... i drink around 3 glasses (i’m a light drinker)... on the day i am drinking i dont eat any other carbs be it in fruit or veggies. I eat protein mostly cause drinking goes with braai 😉 and i really love meat.

Mailula Abby🦄, I’ll try😌. I think I’ve just been so scared of alcohol spiraling me into some made up doom.😹 I’m also getting past a smoking addiction and alcohol makes me also crave a smoke😪 Charlsekat💋 the up and down to the toilet to pee!!! 😹 but you’re awesome for you the suggestion🦾

If you’re a wine person? Woolies’ non alcoholic wine range called Lautus is the closest thing I’ve had. The de-alc range is horrible. Fun fact re health benefits of the occasional glass of wine, non alc wine is better for gut health because the polyphenols actually get absorbed better
