What a surprise this morning. I was 162.2. A busy digestive system (seems to be a function of Keto high fat! and not distressing, just surprising) and a sudden loss of water retention brought this about, also a gift of keto. I have been living high on steak and nibbled chocolate (jojo guilt free chocolate) almond and walnuts, had plenty of eggs and salad , and it seems like magic to lose so fast. But of course it is not. The human gut holds quite a bit of matter. I think what we ingest can, if it causes water retention and provides carbo bulk, put five pounds on a night.
Ate way too much breakfast, but it was Keto cookie and a keto pancake. Love almond flour. It's high calorie but mostly adds only fat and fiber. 557 calories. I won't do that again, because I hope I still weight 162.2( or less!) tomorrow. I am going to pick up Burgerville food for grandchildren, and bring a package of petite sirloin to Mary's for my snacks.
162 was my goal to reach by September, now I hope to see 159 in September. I always count calories and try to stay at 1000 or less. Keto, low calorie, and throwing in a few exotics such as strawberries and very dark chocolate, lots of nuts. Also fasting for longer periods of time when I can do it.( skipping one meal was suggested in Keto book. Seems to help.)
