ok went back to the gym this evening. weighed again just to see and sure enough it said 225 again. so i dont know if their scale is broken or what. All I know is last week i weighed at the doctor and the gym and it said 225.
225.0 lb Lost so far: 7.8 lb.    Still to go: 50.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 14.0 lb a week

Scales are calibrated differently, so you can get a different reading on each one. The type of flooring can effect a scale too. Pick one scale as your "official" scale to get the most accurate gauge of weight loss. To check for accuracy, put an object you know the weight of on the scale (like a 5lb weight) and see how accurate it is. You should also weigh in the same clothes, same time,(morning is best before eating and after going to the bathroom).
