brandylentz4's Journal, 02 August 2020

I'm trying to find motivation here. I've been on a bit of a binge. Unlike usual I've been trying to log my transgressions and i think it's helped to minimize the damage done. i signed up for a free membership at a local gym. i don't know how it will be with social distancing and all but I've got to do something. I've decided that Tuesday is my day (one of my honeys days off so he can be home w kids). Even if i can't go to the gym I'm going somewhere. i need entirely new boundaries around mom time. longing for some autonomy. I'm feeling pretty ashamed i let myself go this far in an unhealthy way again. Here's to another shot at greatness!

As a mom to 5, I know how hard it is to do anything just for yourself. Just do remember that what you do to make you feel better and more balanced is actually for your family too. My kids are older now, so it isn't the crush of time needed for them anymore, and I'm finally reaching my goals. I wish had pushed harder to be healthy when they were younger. You are on the right track logging and planning on going to a gym. I just would encourage you to record record record! Journal your days, and find a few people here to really connect with my commenting and sharing. It helps soo, so much. Cheering for you!!!! I remember thinking I would never be slim again. I know what it is to be defeated and tired!!! Hang in there! 😊
