Thanks for tour support! I take a monthly infusions of Benlysta for SLE Lupus. I also take an immunosuppressant daily and hydroxychloroquinine twice a day. It all helps the inflammation. I have SPE Lupus abd 7 other autoimmune disorders. The struggle is real. I take hydrocortisone(steroid) twice daily for Adrenal Insufficiency as it’s less hard on my system than regular prednisone. I’m currently taking prednisone as well for help getting this fluid off. It makes me just crazy. It’s working though. I take Lasix almost daily and skip it when my weight is not going up. It makes me feel so bad, but takes the water weight off usually. I have to take Potassium with it to protect my kidneys. I eat very little sugar, zero fake sugar or even Stevia as it actually causes inflammation. I don’t drink soda at all and eat a very anti-inflammatory diet including very little pork and Ora tidally zero red meat. I have to drink a protein shake daily to make sure I get enough protein. I’m considered an incomplete paraplegic, but can walk. Most ppl like me have issues with seeking and water retention. I am now walking without a walker everywhere on flat ground. I do and will fall. I am planning to ride a horse again this month! I’ll take it. The drs can’t explain

Why I can walk as they just don’t understand the intricacies of these diseases and trauma. I hope that answers your question. I only see women drs now as it took me over 30 yrs to get a diagnosis. It’s a daily fight, but I will fight! I hate meds and try not to take many, but some I’m on for life. My total change in diet has helped tremendously. Red meat and pork will add to your inflammation as does sugar. Soda is out. It literally destroys your metabolism. I see 5 drs and they all say the same thing. Not sure your age, but I was also told to get up to date on my pneumonia vaccine by all 5 as it may prevent the pneumonia that Covid causes. I’m really open about my struggles. Ask away. I’m an open book. I’m 62, and have been trying to fight this since I was 17 actually. They diagnosed the Lupus in 2016. I knew I had Raynauds abd Sjogrens in my teens and they are saying I’ve had the Lupus all along. No one should retain this much water unless it’s a spinal issue, heart or kidney issue or autoimmune disease. I hope you take care and get relief. Take care and have a beautiful day! 💜🤗⭐️💯

I don’t really trust my GP with all this. I trust my Rheumatologist. She’s amazing. If it’s chronic, I’d ask why you are having the water retention. I don’t do salt either. It all adds up. Nothing processed or very litter. It’s a hard diet abd I love seers, but I try to do Italian ice. Less calories and sugar, but still a great. Best wishes!
