Primalkid's Journal, 05 July 2013

I knew that Monday's weigh in was from the damn heat (dehydration). I spent the week zoning in on my fluid intake and I jumped up 4 lbs. I must say that I am pretty confident that part of it is glycogen super-compensation for several reasons.

1) I am working out 4x/week with a pretty heavy volume routine.
2) I front-load my carbs when GLUT4 is maximized PWO
3) I destroyed my dad in arm wrestling yesterday despite a compromised CNS from working out legs in the morning. I have never beaten him before.

As for today's workout, I actually did better on the incline DB bench press than on Tuesday despite having today be the heavy Military press day. I think this is because my anterior deltoid and upper pectoral got a small break during the regular bench press, whereas on Tuesday the incline press immediately follows the military press.

Regardless, I am in love with my routine and will be finalizing it this weekend. Next week I will increase the weights and finish my 2-week deload before starting my journey on 6 weeks of hell. I plan to set new PRs across the board.
