A busy, but satisfying week. All targets met. Having my aged Mum now at home with us is a challenge in itself, but having my different interests of needlework, yoga, and time in the garden helps me recharge my batteries. As far as diet is concerned I have been on this particular journey for 7 years now, but after the initial shock of being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I got down to researching the condition as much as I could and within 6 months had reversed it to pre diabetic, losing 2 stone in the process. So far I have managed to keep it there, with my HbA1c being now around the 42 mark (down from 76 when I was diagnosed). But I have a target I would like to reach of 34 as I was told at my last check up if I can get there and maintain it for 2 years I will be undiagnosed. Next check up in August....watch this space :)
