ARGH! Well...I did say this was my challenging time of the year...and it's has been true to form. I have been eating anything and everything it seems...pizza, candy, chips. Luckily its only a 2.3 gain since the last time I weighed in, which was 22 DAYS AGO!!! bad Christine! I also haven't been recording....which I believe is my biggest downfall. I'm having a really hard time making myself stop from choosing the bad choices, versus the good ones. Maybe its because strawberries and other berries are out of season and not around....probably more of the stress right now though. I'm making the committment to record everything from now until Christmas.

We've finally received good news to on the fertility front. Finally was able to get my testing done for the donor egg process....everything came back with a clean bill of health. We found a donor, and put the $$ down...and now are just waiting to hear on insurance approval, which we should hear something in two weeks (more waiting). If all goes well....and we can move forward....we start the process in January/February...Be nice to be pregnant before my 40th birthday.

Julie - haven't had a chance to respond to your email, but thank you for checking in on me, it meant a lot. I hope your holidays are going great. =)

=( already failed with my committment for today! what the heck!!! =( I hate the holidays for all the yummy fattening food everyone brings in all the time, and the lack of willpower I have right now!

It's okay to have a TASTE of those yummy foods! Don't deprive yourself! That leads to binging (at least for me it does). Try to portion out what you'll have (like ONE cookie or 6 chips, etc.) savor the taste, and make it last as long as possible. Stay away from triggers (for me it's alcohol and preRed Dragon & chocolate). Take it day by day. 2.3 lbs is nothing. You'll lose it again soon. You can do it, Christine. =)

Thanks Julie :) Holidays are always soooooo tempting! Hope you're doing well. I'll have to read up and catch up on your trip!

Don't be too hard on yourself. I am struggling with journaling my food too. I'm just not. We can make it through the holidays with out huge gains. We can do this! By the way, congrats on the fertility front. That would be a wonderful 40th birthday present.
