Silverweb's Journal, 15 October 2010

Feeling good even though the scale shows this week no loss. Do I believe that? Not one bit! I've learned on this diet that water is replacing some of my fat loss so I don't care. The drop off will occur. Just like last summer I swore I was stalling but I'm 15 lbs lighter than when I was sure I'd never lose another ounce.
192.0 lb Lost so far: 46.0 lb.    Still to go: 57.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Absolutely, Sivler. You are doing fantastic. I was beginning to worry about you! Haven't heard from you in a while.

Good for you. This attitude is much better than the "omg, I can't believe I didn't lose for the "X" time this week" statement we see so often.

I totally agree with you and keli. I am keeping the same thing in mind and ignoring my lying scale.. I feel better, have more energy, and know that my hydration percentage is down due to too much fat taking up the space. So as the fat goes bye bye, water is replacing it and I am not giving up. I know this WOE is the only way for me and am totally satisfied and content

Yes, our bodies are really fantastic machines, delicately balanced and I keep reminding myself that fat originally helped our long-ago ancestors by keeping them alive through hard winters and famines and everything. Even in our day and age people haven't always been so prosperous. I used to talk to my husband's grandma about her life on the Wisconsin farm...before people had pumps for milking and everything. She said people lived on eating fat they harvested for the long winters. All the photos showed the whole family as terrifically skinny. Survival for them for crucial, and yet we now seem not to have these same concerns. So, thank you little fat cells, but goodbye as you shrink. I loved ya once! *giggles*
