Hi, I lost 10 lbs following a "modified" attack phase. Modified cause I drink red wine in the evenings and during the 5 days I've been on it, I also had gluten free birthday cake and chocolate bars and cheese once or twice. I'll try to do better. Still, I'm losing and I can't say that much about trying to do the Atkins diet after two years on it I lost 40 lbs, but stalled for a whole year.
This is kicking in the loss, apparently.
I'm hopeful. Dukan says I need to weigh 150, so I have about 50 lbs to lose. That is a lot of weight and not to be at a weight that I'd like to be. But 150 is better than what I am now.

Hi friends, No I didn't bomb out. I burned out! I just couldn't keep tracking tracking tracking all the time. I tried and I even didn't think I needed to anymore since I could do the diet in the dark. However, I failed to lose anymore weight, no matter how much tweaking I did. I think my body set up the situation of conserving every morsel of calories and fat to stop the loss!
So what am I doing. First of all, in spite of not changing my diet, I gained 10 lbs in the spring. Honestly, I didn't blow the diet at all! But I gained. Well, with the Dukan diet it came off with 3 days on the Dukan diet. I'm going to follow this diet to some extent, although I'm going to tweak it, which he says he doesn't allow. However, I'm going to.
How? Well, first of all, it doesn't include fat, and so I'm following that as much as I can. But I am going to add in a tad olive oil and I will cook fried eggs or things like that in butter. In addition, I am going to have one glass of red wine every day or so. I call this my real human diet. Oh yes, so far I've had a birthday cake slice and a big dinner too. Had to, it was hubby's birthday. I also ate three chocolate bars about 3 days ago, not because I was losing it...but to get rid of them! Funny. I've still lost 10 lbs in less than a week.
I'll let you know how I am doing. But I am only going to track my weight, not food. Read the Dukan diet book to find out the details. It seems to work. Its reasonable. Its hard!
*Waves....wish me luck!

Okay, I'm not keeping up with my duties here. I eat some chocolate and otherwise, I'm doing the same I always did, but the weight goes up with water and down with its loss. So I am going to have to find a way to continue the loss. Obviously I am not going to get anywhere doing what I'm doing.

Second day of diet with my dear daughter, who really isn't that overweight to begin with, I have to say. However, she is petite and really, I do see her point when she says she is too heavy for her own well being. Anyway, its fun to teach her what I know and realize that, in addition to learning about nutrition, she will learn to prepare foods we both can eat. So someday, she will carry on the traditions of our little family.
Its fun to see her chanting all day long, "cookie....cookie..."
