I agree with CelticPhoenix... if you need the extra calories have them, but don’t crash the whole car just because you scuff the tire. It’s not a major setback. Weight fluctuates a bit naturally and that’s not the biggest thing to focus on. It’s more about how you feel. Stay strong!

Thanks so much for your support. I get so frustrated because I have autoimmune disorders. Inflammation is a killer. I do have a free day and I still always stay u Ser 1500 calories. I am following 2 drs advice so protein is my major goal. The weight is mostly water and eventually I’ll post a b4 and after. It may only be 15 lbs, but it looks more like 30! I just write my frustrations so I can show my Rheumatologist his badly the inflammation is daily. It’s not easy to get rid of even with meds. I try to avoid all stress. It does kill and it adds to my autoimmune response. Thanks again guys for your understanding and support! 💜🤗🌈

@CelticPhoenix- I wish OY was just being dramatic. I’ve gained 4 lbs overnight in less than 1100 calories. I completely changed my diet and way of life. Hardly any salt, Cory little processed food either. I seldom eat out as it’s full of sodium and processed. I have SLE Lupus and they think I’ve had it for about 40 yrs or more. I got diagnosed finally in 2015. I’m good on myself and like I said I use this to journal so my drs can track the inflammation. I can’t properly exercise as I’m only able to walk and do modified yoga. I stretch twice daily. I am proud of myself for changing my eating habits. My only weakness is sugar and I may eat it once a week. I really have e worked hard daily since October. Just ready to reach and maintain my goal. Can’t wait to share my b4 and after photos. I look about 30 lbs lighter than I weigh lol. Again, inflammation. Thanks for your kind words. I’m a happy positive person. My motto is-Never give up-Never stop smiling! I’ll get it off. Just has been a real issue my whole life. At least I do know it’s not me lol and when it is really just me! Have a beautiful day. 💜🌈

Thanks CelticPhoenix. I have to takeLasix and it’s a strong drug. Typically causers me migraine. I hate it. I see an Endocrinologist and a Rheumatologist as well. Their help is so important. I use ginger whole. I buy it in the produce section and sautés it a bit. It’s almost healed my tummy issues. I have Erosive Esophagitis and it’s helped me so much. Cutting out all salt and most sugar plus processed fours has helped tremendous. Soda(pop) kills your metabolism. I stopped it immediately. I’m working hard to fight daily and I’ll never stop. It is very frustrating to wake up 4 lbs heavier. I’m sure this will help my drs understand the inflammation . I plan to ask next week about any different fluid pills. I do want to warn you if you take sny Rx meds please call your pharmacist about taking Turmeric. I’m glad I called. It interacts with 2 RXs I take and could kill me. It’s great if you can take it. Good luck on your journey as well! 🤗💜🌈

Hey. Yes on the natural things for me too. I have to be extremely careful. The GP won’t know. Call the pharmacist. They know and can simply type it in and it says what if anything it interacts with. My labs are amazing for 62.5 years old lol. Much better than the majority of 20 yr olds. The soda is a complex thing and it’s not the sugar-it’s the high fructose corn syrup. I can lose but with all my autoimmune disorders, it won’t stay away. I wish you continued luck with your journey always. I know your blood sugar will be better if you aren’t eating it to make up for the loss in soda. I did at first as my body was so used to it. I think my issues are I need much more protein than fat. I occasionally do that. Also, it seems every time I do eat sweets, I lose weight. Weird. I’ll be asking the drs for sure. I see a neurologist as well. Going to ask my Rheumatologist next week about the chronic inflammation. There must be something I can do. I try to stay at or below 1200 calories. I’ve changed everything in my diet, exercise, and drink only water and hot tea. I don’t do any soda as my dr said the carbonation leeches calcium from your bones. I’ve already had osteoporosis and took meds. Now it’s back to my normal osteopenia. Great news. Take care and best wishes! 🤗
