Yay! 4 pounds off! That gives me motivation to keep it up! I never expected to lose 4 pounds... maybe 2 or so. I guess this is working! I, of course, start doing the math right away to see how long it'll take me to get skinny :-) but I know that it'll start to slow. The first few days are always easy.
I definitely need to step up my exercise. If I don't I'm afraid that the weight won't come off next week. Plus I want to make that into my routine. I know that I'll be better off in the long run if I can incorporate some yoga, walking, running - at least a half hour every day of exercise.
And maybe that exercise will help keep me on track. My pattern in the past has always been to be really good at following a diet for a few weeks, only to give it up completely and gain all of the weight back within a month. This time is different though. Turning 40 makes me realize that it is time for me to finally make these changes. Not just for me but for my family!
