A little sad today. Not sure why my weight is up. Keto question: should I eat if I am not hungry? I hardly ate yesterday but I don't know if that is making my body freak out? Also I drank less water but I wasn't as thirsty. Thoughts?
311.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 116.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Looks like you are doing very well. Weight fluctuate with different hormones and water and stuff. So look at the trend and not the day to day. When I did weightloss with keto I followed my appetite and did not eat if I was not hungry. The idea on keto is that you will use your reserves so you will get enough energy as long as you have fat to lose. But do drink a lot of water. That is always a good idea (sort of 8 cups worth or something like that)

I agree with liv, eat when you are hungry. But, do make sure you are getting enough protein; I go by the chart in this article: https://www.virtahealth.com/blog/how-much-protein-on-keto

Remember streets makes use gain weight, cortisol hormone. We crave carbs. That is my nightmare for my type 2 diabetes. Try to relax. meditate. Enjoy flower, sunshine. music what helps you de stress. God bless and keep use safe.

Aww sorry you're feeling sad. I'm not informed on the best way to go about a Keto diet but it's always important to nourish your body. I agree with you that barely eating yesterday could've caused your body to freak out, and/or just not work properly. One thing I've learned and seen happen in my own body is that when we don't eat nearly enough (aka starve ourselves..) the body goes into starvation mode and clings to the fat stores already there since not enough food is coming in. I know a lot of people know about that but it's easy to forget or push aside when we really want to shed the weight. Number 1 rule in weight loss: still nourish and take care of yourself, the way you would take care of a loved one. Your body will thank you in its own way! :)
