After a major setback, I feel that I need to be more accountable. I got derailed by a triple layer ganache chocolate cake last week.. it is hard to manoeuvre this pitfalls and once I go down that rabbit hole it’s hard to get out

Omg, My husband and I were discussing this just last night, about what would be your last meal if you only had a day to live, and mine would be triple ganache chocolate cake.

It is such a battle but one that gets easier over time if you have a serving then go on.

I am appreciative of your support. I’m usually not so vulnerable to cake, and don’t buy them for the family ..rarely. One taste melted any resolve I had....so I took this huge cake, and cut it up into three. And froze two for future days..... good intentions right?
It didn’t go that way. And a week later it is all gone. But it takes a few days to get insulin sensitivity under control and burn off the extra sugar.
I am making headway, in fact the extra water weight has purged and I am down eight pounds.
One taste can lead me onto a slippery slope. So it’s back to clean living for me.
I don’t do this just for weight issues either. My skin issues clear, any inflammation in joints vanishes, and energy abounds, clear thinking comes back. So I wish everyone a safe Valentines Day!
