SturgeonQueen's Journal, 11 September 2010

Okay YAY FS IS BACK! I couldn't record yesterday because well, FS was down and now I've forgotten all that I ate, but I calculated it out and I think at the end of the day I was around 1420.

Weighed in today, down 1lb. We'll see if it sticks. Didn't workout today, had my friend to come over before he left town for a few days. So we met up at the grocery store, came back, watched some Iron Chef and played some video games, and then cooked dinner. We made some bruschetta from home... just bakery italian bread which I don't know how many cals, but i'm estimating and then for dinner had some potatoes cooked up like hash browns but only using cooking spray, and a veggie tray, some carrots with splenda and lightly breaded tilapia with home made tartar sauce. So I'm still pretty low on calories and hungry.

GOT A NEW FRIDGE. Just what I need to make me eat less right? WRONG the thing is HUGE! 3 door awesomeness, super steal on the price, and just awesome. Compliments my new washer/dryer ^_^
139.6 lb Lost so far: 40.4 lb.    Still to go: 4.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You're ON!!! Okay, NOW bookmark it and maybe it'll stay up. I still have trouble if I just try to log on as I've always done. Frustrating! I'm still hungry, too....just ate a tangelo, though. Wish I liked fish, so low in calories and most of it is good for you. Congrats on being DOWN the pound. Even though I'm banned from the scale, I still sneaked a peak... up only half a pound from my recorded weight. Beats hell out of FOUR pounds! Good seeing you back. Who do we complain to about FS? :D

LOL! The only person I can complain to is you!! I will probably continue to be like "OMG DO YOU HAVE FS WORKING" any time it goes down, lol but I did re-bookmark it so hopefully I won't have this issue! Although I got the error again when I tried to add something to the food database, but then it worked the 2nd time around - weird. ------------- and I'm really hoping this pound will stick... stick OFF me if that makes sense, lol! I didn't workout today but it was a big day of talking and laughing and stuff, so, I mean, - whatever. Gotta get back on it tomorrow though - no rest for the wicked! And like I said, I just stocked my new fridge so there are SOOO many goodies I want to scarf down - MUST HAVE SELF CONTROL LOL!

Congrats on the 1 pound loss!! Sure hope that the scale is kind ot me come Monday!! And I love those french door fridges. When I have to get a new one....but let's hope it isn't for a long time. I am tired of broken appliances and home repairs. Tonight the coffee maker blew up!

UGHH! I know what you mean. We're doing all sorts of fix-its around here and everything is super old (for appliances and stuff anyway), slowly but surely all of them are going to crap out on me lol... I just hope it's not soon. Though I'm pretty sure I have a family of mice living inside my stove. Good thing I have lots of cats, lol!

ctlss...your coffee maker too? I think your scale gremlin is doing more damage than just to the scale! Hope you got your crap situation clean out! :D And SQ...you can "complain" to me all you want! I was out shopping so could only reply on my phone, and then the battery died. Technology! I love my fridge, too. And I hope you put all good stuff in your new fridge? I'm jealous of your stainless steel washer and dryer! One day... No... STOVE must be next. The stove in this house is the original! The house was built in '87, and the stove was manufactured in Aug. 1987 - the year we got married! And it's the kind with the attached microwave. And it still works! Damnit.... And girl, if you've got a family of mice living in your stove, you cook less than I do! :D

Oooh no we cook every day D - lol the mice are living in a part of the stove that's apparently unaffected by our cooking. We cook 1-2 meals a day at least, lol. It's kinda funny though, gives my cats something to do!! But this house was built in '46 and I'd bet that the stove is probably from around '87 or somewhere around there too, so I feel your pain! Oh and ya I wish my W/D were stainless - I didn't say what I wanted to say in my post, they match because 1) they're new (lol) 2) they're HUGE and 3) they're all LG. I looked at the stainless ones, but I kinda felt that the price difference between white and stainless wasn't worth it...

Totally agree. And unless they're out in plain sight, who REALLY cares what a washer and dryer look like? Well, I DO love that red one... can't remember the brand.. up on the pedestals. Pretty :) Okay, you DEFINITELY cook more than I do! lol....

Hah D- we looked at the Red Ones because that Dark Red is my favorite color. I believe the ones we looked at were from Whirpool, but I think LG also makes them. BUT as much as I love the color - the issue is for me, 1) it's not worth an extra $200+ for the color and 2) what if you move and then the red w/d look absolutely crazy bad in your new place? LOL Not YOU, but the royal YOU, ya know? LOL That was my hesitation because that dark red, like I said, is my FAVORITE color (my Jeep is that color too, lol). White just was neutral, and it was a housewarming from my parents so, can't look a gift horse in the mouth. We got the pedestals too - they make it so nice!! I can't believe how small W/D look without them now, even though this is the first time I've ever had a W/D with them, lol! AND my LG's sing and play music when a load is done, lol! It's so funny. :D
