Alright, first of all stop beating yourself up. We're all human and make mistakes. The trick is to acknowledge them and move on. Continuing to feel bad won't make you lose the weight any faster. Besides doncha know guilt makes you retain water? :D Whatever diet you decide to go on you need to make the clear decision and commit to it from the begining. I know it's hard to make the transition from non diet to diet (oh god do I know) but the easiest way is to pick one day (like Sunday or Monday) and make that the point of no return- wake up in the diet and stick with it. Good luck! We're all rooting for ya!

I agree with what not_so_likely said... pick a day and then commit yourself to the fact that will be the beginning of renewed healthy eating. Ultimately that change has got to be a lifestyle and we need to stay vigilant about what and how much we're eating... otherwise sadly those lbs will creep back on. But keep positive, as what goes up... WILL come down again. So just wipe the slate clean and start over. I've certainly found filling in the food diary here helps keep me stay on track and be accountable for everything I eat. I know so many people find it takes an age to begin with, but it does get easier honest AND will shows US WW Points if you turn them on under your "MY ACCOUNT" link from your homepage. So come on... a new day, hails a new beginning... just keep telling yourself "I will do this" and you will! So Good luck!! ;o)

Thanks also MoonLite, I have said that I was going to start on this day and then I don't. But I'm really going to try now to REAALY DO THIS....starting on Monday !!! I was reading your comment and had tears. Nothing in what you said, just because I'm upset. Thanks once again for your advice.

That's great to hear and you know you really CAN! So don't be sad... maybe I can try and inspire you with the fact that my own weight started off at 193lbs little more than a year ago. Never did I dream that a year later I could be 70lbs lighter... but it happened. So if I can do this... you honestly can too! Just take each day as it comes and plan what you're going to eat. I know I found it helpful to never look forward at how many lbs to goal, I still had to go and tried to keep my own focus on the lbs I'd lost. Personally I think if you can stick to your plan, get through the first week and lose... then it will raise your spirits and give you the motivation to carry on. I know from my own experience that the first week is the hardest... but really, really try to stick with your food plan and your efforts will be rewarded. Keep smiling though and enjoy your weekend!! ;o)

PS - Do you know how many points you're meant to be eating? If not you can find info on both the points and core plan in the "Weight Watchers Losing It" Groups which might help you with planning food. :o)

Don't panic - just take a deep breath and begin again. The stress will only make things worse!
