W8WATCHER K8's Journal, 08 September 2010

I have traveled this road too many times to recall, and I have taken every detour I could find. Now, I must teach myself that even when I do come to that dreaded "detour sign", I must get back on the main highway as quickly and safely as possible.

I have tried a lot of different strategies to try and get to a healthy weight, and have found that Weight Watchers works best for me. I want to stay with this program for the rest of my life, because even after I reach my goal weight, I am going to need to maintain it.

I think the most important part about weight loss is the journey. The way you handle those detours life throws at you is what makes you learn, grow, and succeed. It helps when you think of it as a lifelong program because thats exactly what it is, this is how you will live your life, healthier, happier, and with sucessful weight loss and weight maintainence. Good luck!

Thank you getNfit22, I couldn't have stated it any better. It is a way of life, a life style, the way we view ourselves and our relationship with food. There is a sense of empowerment when you control the food rather then allowing the food control you.
