Back up to 194. How is this possible? I was losing weight doing LESS exercise. Now that I have increased it - im stuck. Should I just go back to my 30 minutes of slow to moderate walking? This is killing me because I dont know what I am doing wrong.

What kind of exercise? Are you doing weight training? If so then the muscle mass may well generate a gain for awhile. Take measurements that might give you a better picture than the scale.

I've played with weights a little - but not enough to call it weight training. Mostly I have been focusing on doing cardio on the eliptical or treadmill to burn calories. I have also been doing push-ups and crunches, but that wouldnt count as weight training would it? I know that after I am done on the eliptical, my leg and arm muscles are sore - the same kind of sore you would feel with weight training. I dont know - I have to go to the store today anyway so I suppose I will pick up a measuring tape so I can start tracking my measurements. I am so frusterated!

It's really weird but the same thing is happening to me! I lost more weight when I exercised less. I feel better when I exercise but don't like it that I gain weight! It's very frustrating. Measuring is a good idea. I have lost inches even though I haven't lost weight. It's probably a good idea to keep exercising. I think the weight loss will catch up to us! :)
