Good morning all,

Yesterday, I had to taking hubby for his procedure. We had to be up very early! Needless to say I did not get exercise out of the way in the morning. I didn't each much for a lunch, just some nuts and rice cakes. We ended up going out to dinner to a buffet, due to the fact that hubby was not up to par and didn't know what he wanted. I could have done better with that. I didn't eat a lot, but I didn't nessesarily make the best choices. I did not have anything more past 6 pm.

I came home and did a few things and then managed to get exercise in until 8:30pm. I did my 3 mile video.

I woke up this morning with a small loss and I am recording it here. I feel like it might spur me on to do better with nutrition today, as I have a pig roast to go to later today. It seems like there is always something going on to foil the good eating habits. I know I have to learn to live life with these little interuptions.

Wish me luck. I am taking safe foods with me.

Have a great day!

"Wish me luck. I am taking safe foods with me." Ah-ha! GREAT plan!! fill up on the safe foods then nibble a teensy bit on the tasty but oh so bad stuff!

I hear ya about there always being "something going on to foil the good eating habits". It would be so much easier to lose weight if we were hermits! But socializing is the spice of life so learning to incorporate it in a healthy way is the best angle to go with. Each outing is another practice session to learn what works and what doesn't. I've learned a lot from hearing how all my buddies handle their issues. Best of luck!

I think you are doing a great job handling the non-hermit days! Your scale is cheering you on. Good luck with your pig roast, I'm sure with your plan you'll be fine!

I hope your safe foods worked! Pig roasts are good! Hubby doesn't eat pork...but I have gone to some in the past, and the meat is soooo flavorful!
