Well, hello again fatsecret! I'm back again! I need this site, and I need the people on this site. When I stray, that's when I pack the pounds back on.

So... I couldn't sleep last night. Stayed up all damn night on the computer and watching tv. I got a wild hair and went to go work out for the first time in months! I'm so proud of myself for that! I live in an apartment complex that boasts it's own gym. When I first moved here, (over a year ago), that was a huge selling point. I wouldn't have to spend money on a gym membership. Well the stupid thing became a storage room for a while and they just remodeled it. It's a tiny little room, but it has a treadmill, an elliptical, a stationary bike, a weight bench w/adjustable weights, a punching bag and a speed bag.

I did 10 mins on the treadmill, 50 reps on the bike, 50 reps on the elliptical, and multiple reps on the weight machine to work my arms. It was great, the room has an air conditioner and a tv with cable. I think I may try to go every other day, but maybe everyday later on.

I'm so proud, fatsecret! I hate exercise, but I loved it today! It was fun, I was all alone so I didn't feel uncomfortable, and I didn't push myself to the point of hurting myself.

Also, I've discovered that I love to thinly slice an orange and put a slice into ice cold water. It's an addicting taste and my new favorite beverage.

I'm so excited! Can't you tell! I'd like to welcome me back to fatsecret and back to a healthy weight and life!

way to go on finally deciding to get in the habit of committing to exercise...i kno how hard it is to start a routine like that...i never was much into it either..but now having started a habit of it...if i dont do some kind of a workout each day..then i feel like i missed out on something for that day until i do some kind of a workout...you can do this..just takes gettin into that mindset and taking it one day at a time...glad to see you back...

Welcome back! I am soo there with you on the exercise! Talking to the people on here and having them offer me encouragment has helped so much!! My advice would be to start off slow like 2-3 times a week until that becomes a habit and then slowly add onther day on. I have in the past tried to do an everyday thing and have got burnt out so fast and then I would get mad becasue I missed a day and then I would just get discouraged and quite diet and exercise all together! Thats why right now I am doing 3x a week and if I can do more than that it just an added bonus! Good luck!! Keep up the good work!!

Thanks for commenting LindsayVincent! After checking out that you referred me to, I wanna start! I want to do the running thing right now, but my tummy is a little volitile cuz I ate a ridiculous amount of veggies. My body is just not used to that much roughage I guess. I just exercised yesterday, and now I want to today, is that bad? Even if it's only the running thing? I may wait till my tummy settles though.

Its never bad if you want to exercise!!! But not if your tummy hurts :( Just some advice if you start the running thing....it will get easier but the first few times are KILLER!!! Just stay with it!
