2/5/13

I'm just trying to get started. Not having too much luck. Scott hasn't gotten to the grocery and we really don't have anything that we can eat in Induction. He was going to go tonight but he was so tired I talked him out of it.

The last time we were on Atkins we were very successful until we went to Daniel's wedding. We totally threw the diet out the window. It was just too hard for us to start back up after eating everything in site. So we both gained all of our weight back. I gained extra. I'm wearing size 14. I actually had to go buy new jeans for my trip to Daniel's. I was wearing a six when we went to the wedding.

I'm really hoping to reach my goal by the middle of the summer. I want to wear the sundress I had bought for Daniel's wedding and didn't get to wear.
180.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Good Luck! Get to the store get what you need for a week, and start! I have found that planning my meals a day ahead of time really helps me stay on track also printing recipes from the low carb websites helps alot and gives you good dinners to look forward to, Good Luck!

Remember, whatever you do to do lose the weight, you need to keep doing in order to keep it off. You can lose great on Atkins but will you be able to sustain your weight loss when you get to goal. You might google "carb cycling" where you have low carb days and higher carb days. People still lose, but they get to eat more carbs on higher days, so it becomes more sustainable for them. If you enjoy your carbs in moderation, it's a good way to go. Just something to think about.
