Oh my lord! I did it! I made it through week 1 of induction. And I lost just under 10 lbs!! I was so scared to get on the scale this morning. If I had only lost 1 lbs after this MAJOR change in my diet I probably would have felt defeated, quit and gone out and got waffles. I've worked so hard and followed the phase one rules 100%. I know I can get through another week! If this isn't motivation then I don't know what is!
194.9 lb Lost so far: 9.4 lb.    Still to go: 49.9 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Wow, way to go! That's really impressive for your first week though don't think you'll see that many pounds each and every time, it'll slow down some but that doesn't mean your Major change in diet isn't working. Keep it up, surely is great motivation.

Thank you! I know it's probably mostly water but it feels good to have seen some results. I know it will slow down and I actually believe that's a good thing. I got some stretched out skin if you know what I mean that I don't want dangling around ;) Plus I'm trying to be able to sustain a new way of living and eating - which I know will not be induction for sure. The other phases look promising though. But hey, one day at a time!

Exactly, you've got it right. The dang skin thing, enough to drive you crazy..... slow it down some and that'll catch up too. Just stay the coarse, you can do this!

Thank you so much for the encouragement Sunkeeper!

You are doing great! I know lots of us can relate to your frustration with your exterior not matching our interior selves - even if we are well past the 30's. Also with the notion of being trapped in a "fat suit." It feels great to be able to look forward to shedding that suit and dressing up in our true selves. Step by step, we'll get there!

Whoops. Make that "our exteriors . . . " I really must slow down and proofread before pressing the "Submit" button!

Thanks LynCaro! I'm so glad it was recommended for me to join this site! It's so important for me to have contact with people who get it! I'm learning so much from everyone and finding strength when I can't seem to find it on my own. I know it's only been a week but this is the longest I have ever dieted or changed the way I've eaten. I couldn't do this alone.
