I'm a fatty and I'm so over it! I am a sassy and sexy mid 30's girl who doesn't feel very sassy and sexy. My exterior is not matching my interior and I'm feeling trapped inside a fat suit. I'm over joking about it and playing victim to my obesity as if someone did this to me. I did this to me. I just never learned another way to live. I'm not gonna hate myself or be shameful about it. It's just time to start loving myself and taking responsibility for my health.

It's getting to the point where my back and knees are starting to hurt because I'm carrying around too much weight for my 5'3" frame. Plus I just was diagnosed with having RA. I just don't eat healthy at all. Historically, I've been overwhelmed by dieting or tracking food and not disciplined enough to exercise on a regular basis. Now I'm ready to do all of it.

I want to focus on the food portion first as I think that is my biggest problem. I live for for carbs and clearly dying for them as well. I've chosen to give Atkins a try. I'm already a bit overwhelmed but that's why I'm here - to see how other people are "werkin it!"

My goal is to lose like 60 lbs. I'm 5'3" and 205 lbs and I guess I'm supposed to be more like 145 on the high end. We'll see how it goes after I start losing. I just know it's time for a big change!

I'm looking for buddies who are doing atkins too and has figured out how to "werk it" or want a friend to help figure it out with.

Liv001 you mentioned "versions". I'm planning on starting Atkins but am not sure how to get started. I need to know like exactly what to do. Should I buy a book or something? How did you figure out what to do.
