Good start to this South Beach challenge yay! Down a pound, which was probably mostly just getting rid of salt from that pizza I had eaten the other day.

I hate being just on the cusp of being overweight. I'd like to be at least 10 lbs below where the BMI calculator moves me from "normal" to "overweight". Right now it's like one bad day of eating throws me over the hurdle.

Dinner tonight will be spinach salad with a sprinkle of blue cheese, crushed almonds, some grilled chicken, and scallions and tomatos and cucumber all mixed in there. Topped with some raspberry vinagrette (sugar free, fat free). I do better when I know what I'm eating at night.

I have a healthy lunch, and I had an egg white omelet again for breakfast. Simple and I really did not feel hungry at all yesterday. :)

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Rain cooling down the hot temperatures
2) Date night w/ Salem last night
3) So far I have NOT caught the bug going around my office

yummy! sounds delish. Today I had 2 eggs with some chopped up green pepper and a slice of FF ham in an omelet. for snack i am eating roasted chickpeas right now- they have a touch of cayenne so they are spicy! lunch i will have a salad with grilled veg on top, roasted peppers and turkey with olive oil and lemon. snack this aft will be a cheese string and come cucumber and then dinner... chicken and salad and roasted veg. sorry didnt mean to leave all that on your wall!! glad you are down a pound this am, that is a great start, water or no water! have a great day chris- oh and by the way I bought some light ricotta last night and mixed it with splenda, lime zest and vanilla and it was pretty good- nice dessert compared to no dessert!

YAY for Chris1979!!!! Wonderful start ... stick with it ... sounds like perhaps Southbeach is just what your metabolism has been asking for, unbeknownest to you!!!
