Not going anywhere. Cooking and feeding high school athletic kids doesn’t help with my keto diet. Temptation is too high to eat what they are eating. Anyone else with the same problem?

I'm with ya! I've got a house full of high school and college kids. We ban junk food except if they buy it and consume it. I always have tons of fruit and veggies available and cook from scratch for most things. It isn't easy especially when it is summer holiday!! Gotta just log everything and keep goals in mind. My kids are my allies! If I'm skipping a meal due to IF, they are so encouraging and supportive. They know how hard I've worked and want me to succeed. Good luck!!!

So good to hear your echo!! Yes the junk food, the nibble bits, and now that school has started, they need to bring extra munchies to refuel.. so more junk

My friends son is in high school, they switched yup low carb and he's an athlete, doing much better. Just because they're young doesn't mean is good for them. Don't entourage bad habits young. That's why there's an epidemic of unhealthy youth. Yaaa yaa yaa much easier said than done. I know.

Boy, I can relate to your situation. Kids don’t understand food, and calories. Just try to fix foods that they will eat and fix your meal with the kids. I know it’s a hassle, but it works. The kids will adapt. Keep it healthy.
