Getting so close to my first small milestone of 299.9 or less. (hey, small steps, right?) Had a good workout Friday, yard sale this past weekend with lots of activity Friday night thru Sunday night. At least 30K steps each day, lots of stairs on Sunday, and during the slow periods I got a little yard work done too. Bonus: a bit more walkin' around money in my pocket, and an Andy's Frozen Custard kids cone as reward on Sunday night. It was really yummy. Monday was a rest day and catch up on errands and chores not done on the weekend. This morning I was at the gym by 6:45 and put in a solid hour of weights and stretching. No treadmill. A nutritionist recommended I have 20g of protein an hour or two before a workout to help power my body thru the workout and the post-workout burn. I have tried that the last couple of workouts and I do not have that craving after the workout. Rest of the week will be a one hour walk tomorrow morning before I work from home for the day, trainer appointment on Thursday afternoon, and a one hour walk Friday morning in advance of another work-from-home day. The weather has been so nice in the mornings lately - in the low 60's - that it's easy to get that walk in without all the heat and humidity sticking to you.
