Read "why we get fat". Lightbulb went off, and now it's going through the family. Wow. Modern concepts of weight management combined with actual data. We are clearly shaped by our carbs in this family...and the change is dramatic. I am losing 2 to 3 lbs per week. And eating! Weight watchers says I may be losing too quickly. Lots of lean protein, but now avoiding sugars in milk, for example, and having a little cream when needed. Little bread, rice, etc. WW taught us that if you try to do absolute starvation or exclusion, you rebound. We are in this for the long haul but I'm finally so encouraged. Also doing whey supplement. Those items help,round out the protein as well as replace the goodies we like. Good week!
