Weighing in today as I finally dropped a pound. I need to keep at counting the points. I have been over in points most every day. Yesterday I ate very light and healthfully- mainly protein and veggies and was still over. The overage came from eating one slice of zucchini bread at my Aunt's house- 5 points for just that. That is almost 25% of my daily points for one little treat. So I guess it goes to show how hard it is to stay in the points! That is also why it works for losing weight. Still I lost with really watching things and exercising anyway even though I was over. I may take a bit of a break counting today if we go out for dinnner, but otherwise going 3 days at a time has seemed to work. I want to keep the momentum up and get the numbers going back down. I really want to see 139 by the end of the month! I have been at this plateau now for a while and am having a hard time doing the hard work of eating really well to get past it. I'll keep my goal in mind and keep pressing on to meet it.
142.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

A lot of us (myself included!) are finding the summer to be a bigger challenge than we'd anticipated. I don't remember ever being on a diet in the summer before because I would traditionally start in the New Year but never last long enough on it to make it to the summer months. Anyway, I think the sailing will be smoother for all of us once September rolls around. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Great job losing the pound, by the way :)

Uh - except those of us going back to goodie filled staff lounges in the schools! :) I found summer to be easier! But that's cuz I don't have a social life, I guess. I'm sure you'll get to 139 soon! You're almost there! GO GO GO!!
