July 11 Blood sugar was 118 this morning, despite eating a pure protein bar at 1 a.m., and later on, it was 113 before lunch. The extra sugar in my liver has been reduced enough that overnight fast no longer pulls up high scores, or maybe I had some kind of virus since June 8? Whatever, I am grateful.
My vision has cleared since I have been eating low carb and low calorie and my strength in my arms and legs is better.

Taking "Bone Up" has caused my nails and hair to grow better. Vertical splits in my left thumb nail have disappeare although all my nails are still a bit more brittle than they were 20 years ago. Bone Up has some odd sort of protein in it that helps hair and nails. I take that med because at 77, I am getting old bones, somewhat porous though not into osteoporosis yet. I have been taking Bone Up for several weeks and more conscientiously now I am trying to reduce my weight.
I have 43 lbs to lose. I lost 5 lbs between June 8 and July 11. The weight program says it will take 61 months to reach 145. I think it will take less. Two years maybe if I stick to it. Of course, if I forget that wheat, certain milk products, and so on make me ill and gives me aching joints, and forget that over eating makes me fuzzy-eyed and weak, who knows?
187.8 lb Lost so far: 10.2 lb.    Still to go: 45.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
